Mo Farah and Charlotte Purdue were the winners of the first-ever Vitality Big Half on Sunday (March 4), while a host of British runners were out to impress.
Preparation for the Commonwealth Games or London Marathon was the main focus for many in the UK capital, while others chased the qualification time for the World Half Marathon Championships.
For the Valencia hosted championships later this month, the standard for men is 65:00 and women 75:00 and with selectors picking the team on Monday (March 5), it really was the last chance to hit the mark.
With British Championships also up for grabs, there was a host of reasons to race on the streets of London.
